5 Days Wildlife Safari to Amboseli & Maasai Mara
Overview
Our clients will start their adventure with an overnight stay in Nairobi, followed by a scenic drive to Amboseli National Park, where they will enjoy an afternoon game drive and an overnight stay. The next day, they’ll transfer to the Maasai Mara via Nairobi, immersing themselves in the rich wildlife with game drives and optional activities over two nights. The tour concludes with a return to Nairobi for their departure, ensuring a diverse and memorable safari experience across Kenya’s iconic landscapes.
Day 1: Arrival at Jommo Kenyatta International Airport (NBO) – Nairobi
Upon arrival at Jommo Kenyatta International Airport (NBO), you will be warmly welcomed by our company staff. After a briefing about the safari, you will be introduced to your driver-guide. You will then be transferred to the hotel/ Lodge in Nairobi for check-in, then have the diner and overnight stay.
Day 2: Nairobi – Amboseli National Park
After early breakfast, you will meet your Safari Guide and proceed to Amboseli National Park where you will arrive in time for a game drive along with your Picnic Lunch. Amboseli National Park, located in southern Kenya near the Tanzanian border, is renowned for its stunning views of Mount Kilimanjaro, Africa’s highest peak. The park covers 392 square kilometers and is famous for its large elephant herds, which can be seen against the backdrop of the towering mountain. Amboseli’s diverse ecosystems include savannah, wetlands, and woodlands, providing a rich habitat for a variety of wildlife such as lions, cheetahs, giraffes, zebras, and over 400 bird species. The park also offers opportunities to visit Maasai villages and learn about the local culture, making it a popular destination for both wildlife enthusiasts and cultural explorers. After the trip, drive to your Lodge/ Camp for evening leisure, dinner and overnight stay.
Day 3: Amboseli National Park – Maasai Mara National Reserve
After early morning breakfast and transfer to Masai Mara. Arrival in Masai Mara early afternoon. Proceed to the camp for check-in and lunch. Later venture out for game drives, exploring what the park has in store for you. The Maasai Mara National Reserve, located in southwestern Kenya, is one of Africa’s most famous and important wildlife conservation areas. Spanning approximately 1,510 square kilometers, it is renowned for its exceptional populations of lions, leopards, cheetahs, and the annual Great Migration, where over a million wildebeest, zebras, and gazelles traverse the plains in search of greener pastures. The reserve is named after the indigenous Maasai people who live in the area and the Mara River that runs through it. With its vast savannah landscapes, rich biodiversity, and opportunities to visit Maasai villages, the Maasai Mara offers an unparalleled safari experience and insights into the local culture. After the trip, drive back to your camp for evening leisure, dinner and overnight stay.
Day 4: Full day in Maasai Mara National Reserve
After breakfast at your Camp/ Lodge, spend a day exploring the vast reserve. With your experienced safari guide by your side, immerse yourself in the captivating wildlife encounters that await. Witness the majestic herds of elephants, graceful giraffes, and mighty lions in their natural habitat. Traverse the diverse landscapes, from open plains to dense thickets, and witness the remarkable biodiversity of the park. With each turn, expect surprises and unforgettable moments as you unravel the mysteries of the African wilderness. Return to the camp for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 5: Transfer to Jommo Kenyatta International Airport (NBO)
Check-out after breakfast with your Picnic Lunch and a brief game drive as you exit the park. Transfer to Jommo Kenyatta International Airport (NBO) for your onwards Flight back home or to the next destination.
