Day by Day Itinerary
Day 1: Dar Es Salaam – Mikumi National Park
Early in the morning from Dar Es Salaam, you will meet our Safari Guide and drive to Mikumi National Park, lunch served in en-route to Morogoro. Mikumi National Park, located in Tanzania, is the country’s fourth-largest national park and part of the larger Selous ecosystem. It is known for its diverse wildlife, including lions, elephants, giraffes, zebras, and various bird species. The park’s landscape features open grasslands, miombo woodlands, and the Mkata River floodplain, providing ample opportunities for game viewing and birdwatching. After the trip, proceed to your Lodge/ Camp for evening leisure, dinner and overnight stay.
Day 2: Full day at Mikumi National Park
Breakfast is served at Camp. Full day of game drives along with your Picnic Lunch. There is a high possibility of getting close to the Lion, Buffalo, Elephants, Impala and many more wildlife found in the area. After the trip, proceed to your Lodge/ Camp for evening leisure, dinner and overnight stay.
Day 3: Daytrip to Udzungwa Mountains National Park
Breakfast is served at the Camp, there after check out and drive to Udzungwa Mountain National Park. This Park is renowned for its biodiversity and stunning scenery. It is part of the Eastern Arc Mountains, known for their rich endemic flora and fauna. The park is famous for its hiking trails, including the challenging trek to the top of Sanje Waterfalls, offering panoramic views of the surrounding forests and valleys. Udzungwa is a haven for hikers, birdwatchers, and nature enthusiasts seeking unique wildlife encounters, such as the Udzungwa red colobus monkey and various endemic bird species. After the trip, drive out the Park and proceed to your Lodge/ Hotel/ Camp for your evening leisure, dinner and overnight stay.
Day 4: Transfer back to Dar Es Salaam
After breakfast, you will meet your Safari Guide and proceed to Dar Es Salaam, arriving in time for a drop-off.
