Day by Day Itinerary

Day 1: Dar Es Salaam – Nyerere National Park

Early in the morning from Dar Es  Salaam, you will meet the Safari GuideNyerere National Park, formerly known as Selous Game Reserve, is one of Africa’s largest national parks, spanning approximately 30,893 square kilometers in southern Tanzania. Home to diverse wildlife including elephants, lions, leopards, and African wild dogs, the park features a variety of ecosystems such as miombo woodlands, grasslands, and riverine forests. The Rufiji River, central to the park, offers unique boat safari opportunities. Visitors can enjoy game drives, walking safaris, and bird watching, especially during the dry season from June to October when wildlife is more concentrated. Accessible by flights from Dar es Salaam, the park provides various accommodation options from luxury lodges to tented camps, ensuring a rich and immersive safari experience. After the trip, proceed to your Lodge/ Camp for evening leisure, dinner and overnight stay.

Day 2: Full day Nyerere National Park

After breakfast, proceed with a full day game drive and other activities in the park along with your Picnic Lunch. After the trip, drive back to your Lodge/ Camp for your evening leisure, dinner and overnight stay.

Day 3: Daytrip to Nyerere National Park – Transfer back to Dar Es Salaam

After breakfast, check out from your Lodge/ Camp and proceed with a morning and afternoon game drive in Mikumi National Park along with your Picnic Lunch. After the trip, drive out the Park and proceed to Dar Es Salaam, arriving in time for a drop-off.
